A member of the Company 3 team in Los Angeles since 2000, Rob Sciarratta relocated to the New York office in 2012. He has earned a reputation as one of the country’s top commercial and music video colorists. He is a five-time winner of the International Monitor Awards for Best Color Correction. He also works on feature films and documentaries.
Sciarratta, a native of Rochester, NY, and graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, worked at the Eastman Kodak company and as a professional photographer early in his career. In the early 1990s, he moved to New York and learned the art and craft of coloring at The Tape House. In 1994, he moved to Los Angeles, where he at Hollywood Digital, which was absorbed into Company 3 in 2000. Sciarratta has cultivated long-standing relationships with many major commercial directors and cinematographers.
Recent work includes spots for BMW, AT&T, Nissan, M&Ms, Cialis, and Sprite, including an acclaimed spot with LeBron James. Recent feature film work includes Conan the Barbarian for director Marcus Nispel, Playing it Cool for producer McG and the powerful documentary It Might Get Loud.
