Samantha Uber joined the company in 2013 as a conform artist for television shows and feature films. She has expertise in all the major platforms, including Autodesk Flame (formerly Smoke), Blackmagic Resolve and Avid (she supports and troubleshoots all Avid systems in her department). She is also highly skilled at compositing, beauty and wire removal type work – anything necessary in the session. Recent projects include Vinyl, The Knick, Boardwalk Empire and Girls, all for HBO.
Previously, she did similar work at Technicolor’s New York branch and Postworks. A lifelong film lover, Uber was accepted to the NYU Tisch School of Film at age 16 and graduated in three years with high honors, segueing directly to a job at MTV Studios doing creative editorial. She commutes to work from the Jersey Shore, where she shares an old Victorian house with her boyfriend and two Afghan Hound dogs.
