mike pethel is co-president and co-founder of company 3, and one of the industry’s most acclaimed colorist. he has worked in post production for more than 20 years and, prior to becoming a colorist, helped to develop the post production service system. his background includes stops at cis, rushes (london) and pacific ocean post. while at cis, he was part of a team that won an emmy award for developing the electronic optical printer that marked a turning point in digital effects and film scanning technology.
