carter was previously an editor at company 3, where he contributed to more than a dozen feature films, including the island, pirates of the caribbean: dead man's chest, 300, blades of glory, pirates of the caribbean: at world's end, and rush hour 3. his background also includes a post with santa monica editorial house, brass knuckles, as an on-line editor and digital technology specialist, in addition to a similar position with the editorial house, cosmo street.
carter began his career in audio post production with margarita mix, hollywood. he moved into video production via the visual effects house cfc.
