dave hussey is an accomplished colorist and one of the original members of company 3. a four-time mvpa award winner for best color correction who was also named colorist of the year for commercials in 2007 by the hollywood post alliance (hpa) and is a two-time winner of da vinci's systems master colorist award. hussey is in constant demand for music video, commercial and feature work due to his standard of excellence and level of artistry. his recent projects include the breakout hit (500) days of summer as well beyonce's "single ladies" music video, which won video of the year honors at the 2009 mtv video music awards (vma). his handiwork was also acknowledged in other vma categories ranging from best male, best female, best hip-hop, to best pop and many others for artist such as jay-z (doa), ne-yo (miss independent), katy perry (hot & cold), fall out boy (i don't care) and lady gaga (paparazzi) to name a few. in all hussey provided color correction for music video's that received a whopping 32 vma nominations in 2009 alone.

notable commercial spots he's worked on include "let's get it done" for citigroup, "jinx for coca cola and "harmony" for toyota.
dave began his career at the magnetic north corp in toronto and later moved to hollywood to join the post group in 1989.
