colorist

jeremy sawyer became interested in a career in color grading through his experience as a photographer. working in dark rooms with the photochemical process gave him an appreciation of the possibilities inherent in color and shade. it also provided him with a common language and shared aesthetic with directors and cinematographers. he enjoys being part of the company 3 team because of its dedication to the art of color correction and the opportunities it provides to work on top quality projects. currently, he spends much of his time coloring commercials, work he finds very rewarding, and he looks forward to taking on more long-form assignments.

prior to company 3, sawyer was a colorist at the syndicate in santa monica. a boston native, he began his career with finish editorial which is located there.
