RTS nominated Senior Re-Recording Mixer Adam Gama-Davidson is based at Company 3 London and has been part of the sound team since 2006. After starting as a runner he worked his way up from audio assistant via ADR recordist and Junior Mixer before reaching his current position of Senior Re-Recording Mixer in 2018
Gama‑Davidson and the freelance editorial team received a nomination in the Sound – Scripted Category at the 2025 RTS Craft & Design for their work on Disney’s four‑part series Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
His other recent credits include all three seasons of the Emmy‑nominated and critically acclaimed Hulu series The Great, as well as both series of Channel 4’s dramedy Feel Good. Additional highlights include ITV’s true-crime dramas The Walk-In and A Confession.
Interestingly, he has worked on the BBC’s Death in Paradise for every season of its 16-year run. He started as an ADR recordist on the show before taking over mixing duties towards the end of series 8. Much of the soundscape was actually originally built around his location recordings from the island of Guadeloupe. “It’s so important for any show, but particularly this one, that we’re following the passing of time and the true rhythm of the wildlife there.’
