Company 3 NExT – Nurturing Exceptional Talent

 

In our 10-week summer internship program, you will learn about our creative process, gain postproduction and VFX experience, meet and connect with our diverse art, production, technology, and administrative teams, and join the NExT generation of entertainment industry talent.


Program Tracks


Within our internship program, interns will explore, learn, and gain experience in one of the five tracks below.

Company 3 VFX Post-production Finishing Track
Post-production Finishing includes the process of enhancing and designing the color of a project to set a certain emotional tone and keep continuity. It also includes the process of piecing together high-quality, finished footage.
Company 3 VFX Sound Track
Sound is the process of creating clear dialogue, adding sound effects, and creating the entire sound environment for content.
Company 3 VFX Internship Track
Visual Effects (VFX) is the process of creating, manipulating, or enhancing imagery that does not take place during live-action shooting. It is often used to create environments or to merge real-life footage with CG (Computer-Generated) imagery.
Company 3 VFX Stereo VFX Track
Stereo VFX is the process of giving depth to 2D imagery, tricking the eye into thinking an object is popping out of a screen.
Company 3 VFX Global Services Track
Global Services supplies critical administrative and organizational support for our employees across the company. Our Global Services departments include Diversity & Engagement, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Security/Information Technology, Finance & Accounting, and Facilities & Studio Operations.

  • Full-time for 40 hours a week
  • Hybrid program model (virtual days with fellow interns + in-person workdays at their studio location)

Application Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in or recent graduates of a post-high school educational program (community college, college, university, trade, online school, or equivalent).
  • Applicants must submit a resume and personal statement with their application.
  • Applicants must be self-motivated, collaborative, and have a positive attitude.
  • Applicants must be able to provide legal proof of eligibility to work in the country in which they are applying to be considered.

Are NExT interns paid at Company 3?

  1. Yes, all interns are paid.

Do you offer relocation or housing for interns?

  1. Unfortunately, we do not offer relocation and/or housing for our interns.

Will my reel/portfolio play a major part in the selection process?

  1. If you are applying for an artist role, we will review your reel/portfolio. We also review your resume with great consideration. As a result, please keep your resume to one page, keep it organized, and provide relevant experience.

What should my reel/portfolio consist of?

  1. If you are applying for an artist role, the reel/portfolio can include past coursework and projects from other internships, extracurricular activities, part-time/full time jobs, etc.
