Currently based in Atlanta, Lucas Sanoff is a highly regarded sound designer, editor, and mixer whose audio post-production work has been featured in award-winning films and acclaimed television series for major networks, including HBO, Showtime, Netflix, and Hulu. Having spent the majority of his career working in New York, Sanoff relocated to the Atlanta area in 2022, where he handled freelance assignments until joining Company 3 Atlanta in 2024.

Sanoff has established a reputation for his meticulous approach to sound and a strong musical sensibility, delivering detailed, impactful soundscapes across a wide range of formats and genres. His portfolio encompasses narrative long-form projects, documentary films, animation, comedy, commercial work, and reality television. His work as a mixer or sound editor can be heard on the wildly inventive Netflix series I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, the comedy series Tires with Shane Gillis (also on Netflix), the documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and numerous comedy specials. Recent work also includes complex mixing for the Prime Original Raise the Flags: 50 Years of Buccaneers Football. Sanoff also shared in the Peabody Award (Entertainment category) that was given to HBO Max’s six-episode absurdist fantasy comedy, Fantasmas, created by writer-actor Julio Torres.

In addition to his work in post-production, Lucas is an accomplished musician, engineer, and songwriter. He is a two-time John Lennon Songwriting Contest winner for songs he wrote, produced, performed, and mixed. He has also engineered sessions for leading voiceover and musical artists in the Greater New York City and Metro Atlanta regions. Having lived and taught in Spain for two years, Lucas is also fluent in Spanish.
