Among the exciting and eclectic mix is the British drama, After Love, from director Aleem Khan (colored by Tim Masick), and Good Joe Bell (colored by Stefan Sonnenfeld, additional color by Parker Jarvie), premiering today and screening again the following Friday and Saturday. The powerful film, starring Mark Wahlberg, Reid Miller, and Connie Britton was directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, whose 2018 feature debut, Monsters and Men, screened at TIFF and received the Sundance Film Festival’s Special Jury Prize. Penned by Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana (Brokeback Mountain), Good Joe Bell confronts such complex issues as prejudice and the meaning of love.

“This was a very special film and I’m glad we had the opportunity to be part of it,” says Company 3 President/Senior Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld. “It tells a very important story about bullying and its sometimes devastating consequences. It’s the kind of meaningful film that people have come to expect from TIFF, which is a major reason why we have been such strong supporters of the festival for so long.”
