Creative Control Takes “Visual Excellence” Award

Creative Control, which was colored by Damien Van Der Cruyssen of Company 3 New York, received the Special Jury Recognition for Visual Excellence at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival. Directed by Benjamin Dickinson (who also stars) and shot by Adam Newport-Berra, the quirky film is set in the landscape of a Brooklyn of the not-too-distant future and involves the uses and misuses of “Augmented Reality” technology.

SXSW attendees also saw a great deal of other Company 3 work. A whopping nine features in the fest were colored here:
