The 76th annual Berlin International Film Festival is underway in Berlin, running February 12 to 22, 2026, and once again bringing together filmmakers and audiences from around the world.

Now in its second year under Artistic Director Tricia Tuttle, the festival continues to champion international voices, politically resonant storytelling, and bold cinematic vision. This year, Company 3 contributed to two projects premiering across narrative and documentary programs.

Gore Verbinski’s sci-fi comedy Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die makes its European premiere in the Berlinale Special Gala. Shot by James Whitaker ASC, and graded by Company 3 Senior Colorist Stephen Nakamura, the film stars Sam Rockwell as a time traveler who recruits a group of unsuspecting diner patrons to prevent an impending AI apocalypse. Set largely inside a Los Angeles diner, what begins as a tense encounter quickly escalates into a surreal overnight mission filled with zombie teenagers, rogue robot dolls, and a race against time.

Also premiering is Chuuraa, a short documentary directed by Evgenia Arbugaeva and graded by Company 3 Colorist Chris Francis, debuting in the Berlinale Shorts program. Filmed in the Siberian Arctic, the documentary follows Indigenous Sakha palaeontologist Aisen Klimovskii as he descends into thawing permafrost caves in search of an ancient creature. Blending mythology with scientific inquiry, the film reflects on the accelerating effects of climate change and the remnants of the distant past resurfacing in a rapidly warming world.
