All The Empty Rooms Wins Best Edited Short at the 76th ACE Eddie Awards
March 2, 2026 Mar. 2, 2026The 76th Annual ACE Eddie Awards took place this weekend at Royce Hall in Los Angeles, where American Cinema Editors honored outstanding achievement in editing across film and television.
Among this year’s winners, All The Empty Rooms, edited by Erin Casper, Stephen Maing, and Jeremy Medoff, won the Best Edited Short award. Directed by CBS Evening News correspondent Steve Hartman and featuring color by Company 3 Senior Colorist Kath Raisch, the Netflix documentary short follows Hartman and photographer Lou Bopp as they travel across the country to memorialize the preserved bedrooms of children lost to school shootings.
The Academy Award-nominated short is now streaming on Netflix.
