Company 3 Senior Colorist Simon Bourne was honored with a Bronze Lion award at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The award was in the Color Correction/Grading category for the Adidas campaign Superstar.

The annual festival, which honors creative excellence in all facets of advertising and film, is among the most prestigious awards in that space worldwide.

This film is one of three in the campaign that tells a story of the Adidas Originals sneakers, the Superstar, the Gazelle and the Samba. Superstar tells a story surrounding the iconic sneaker that evolved from being “built for basketball, but adopted by hip hop and skate.”¬†Directed by Daniel Jude Wolfe, the project highlights the classic Superstar shoe that changed the game the moment it stepped off the court. Adidas pays homage to those who’ve been along for the ride for the over 50 year lifespan of the sneaker.
