Baby Reindeer Takes Top Honors at The Inaugural Gotham TV Awards

June 5, 2024 Jun. 5, 2024

On Tuesday evening, the Gotham Film & Media Institute presented its first annual Gotham TV Awards, honoring the best TV from the past year. We at Company 3 are pleased to have provided postproduction services on two winning titles.

Richard Gadd’s Baby Reindeer took home the award for Breakthrough Limited Series. Directed by Weronika Tofilska and Josephine Bornebusch, with color grade by Company 3 Senior Colorist Simon Bourne, the much-talked-about series has already received over 70 million views. Simon shares, “The grade was always going to be used as a strong tool to let the viewer know what’s going on in Donnie’s head. Every time we go somewhere, we’re also going into Donnie’s world — the pub where he works, his flat, Martha’s flat, and so forth.”

Additionally, Andrew Scott was awarded Outstanding Performance in a Limited Series for his role in Netflix’s Ripley. The series is directed by Steven Zaillian and features color grade by Senior Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld.

The sister ceremony of the much-loved Gotham Awards, the Gotham TV Awards are a new award show that shines a spotlight on a diverse array of TV series and their visionary creators.

Congratulations to all the creative teams involved in these outstanding projects.
