Empowering Future Filmmakers: Company 3 + Coca‑Cola Refreshing Films

We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Coca‑Cola® Refreshing Films program, an initiative that gives student filmmakers from partnered schools an opportunity for theatrical storytelling. Company 3 partners with Coca‑Cola® Refreshing Films each year, providing students and recent grads with professional color correction sessions. The Coca‑Cola® Refreshing Films program is a platform that gives up-and-coming filmmakers from partnered schools the opportunity to create content for the big screen.

Each year, students and recent grads take on a scripting challenge to create branded spots, and the top four teams are selected through a competitive process. With funding, mentorship, and access to industry tools, these teams bring their concepts to life over a six-month, real-world production experience. Technical partners, such as RED and Company 3, mentored the teams and provided students access to a professional camera and an in-studio color session with skilled colorists. This year, students worked with Senior Colorists Jared Pecht and Justin White in our Los Angeles and Atlanta studios.

In the final stages of post-production, students worked alongside marketing professionals to finalize their branded spots. Once complete, the spots are hosted online for the world to see. This year’s entries celebrated the unmatched magic of seeing a movie on the big screen best paired with a warm popcorn and ice-cold Coca-Cola. At CinemaCon 2025, Ticket to Everywhere by Chapman University’s Dodge College of the Arts was awarded the Grand Prize. Their spot will screen in Coca-Cola partnered theaters nationwide later this year. Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew! We also applaud the team behind A Cinema’s Groove for winning the program’s first-ever Best Music Composition Award, recognizing the original score by composer Shao Jean.
