‘In the Summers’ Reigns at Sundance 2024

The 40th Sundance Film Festival wrapped up this weekend, and the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic was awarded to Colombian-American filmmaker Alessandra Lacorazza for their debut film, In The Summers. The independent movie, graded by Senior Colorist Kath Raisch, also nabbed the Directing prize in U.S. Dramatic. Congratulations to Alessandra and the team of artists on their outstanding contributions to this film!

In the Summers stars Rene Perez Joglar (aka Residente), Sasha Calle, Lio Mehiel, Emma Ramos, and Leslie Grace. The semi-autobiographical film revolves around two sisters navigating a relationship with their loving but volatile father during their yearly summer visits to his home in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
