Monday night’s Toronto Film Critics Association Gala, hosted by the talented Amanda Brugel at The Omni King Edward Hotel, was a celebration of cinematic excellence.

The prestigious Company 3 Luminary Award, honoring the late Charles Officer for his enduring impact on both film and society, was presented during the awards gala. This pay-it-forward initiative allows the recipient to donate $50,000 in post-production services from Company 3 to another filmmaker. Officer’s longtime producing partner Jake Yanowski announced Thyrone Tommy (Learn to Swim) as the recipient, underscoring the award’s commitment to nurturing future talents.

In addition to the Company 3 Luminary Award tribute, the night saw notable victories for Killers of the Flower Moon, which secured wins for Outstanding Lead Performance (Lily Gladstone) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Martin Scorsese and Eric Roth). Barbie alsoemerged victorious with Best Supporting Performance (Ryan Gosling) and Best Original Screenplay (Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach) awards. Senior Colorist Yvan Lucas providing color grading on both of these hit films.
