Last night the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) announced the winners for its 69th Annual CSC Awards, recognizing excellence in cinematography across film, television, documentaries, and advertising.

Director and cinematographer Daniel Green received the Fritz Spiess Award for Commercial Cinematography for Export Development Canada’s (EDC) Café William. Graded by Senior Colorist Matt Osborne, the commercial tells the story of Café William, a Quebec-based coffee company known for its organic, fair-trade coffee and commitment to sustainability. The spot highlights how the company worked with Export Development Canada (EDC) to navigate global trade challenges and expand into new markets while maintaining its environmental commitments.
