67th Annual CSC Awards x Company 3

The Canadian Society of Cinematographers celebrated its 65th annual awards ceremony recently, honoring outstanding talent in the industry. Notable achievements include Brendan Steacy, CSC, ASC, who received the award for Best Cinematography in a Dramatic Series – Non-Commercial for his exceptional work on the “Hot Hot Hot” episode of the hit Netflix series Painkiller, color graded by Senior Colorist Joanne Rourke.

Jon Joffin, ASC was honored with two awards, including Best Cinematography in a Half-Hour Scripted Series for his outstanding contributions to the Apple TV+ series Schmigadoon!, particularly the episode “Something Real,” which featured color grading by Senior Colorist Jill Bogdanowicz.

Christopher Lew, CSC, also earned significant recognition, winning multiple awards including Best Dramatic Short Cinematography for ‘Closing Dynasty,’ skillfully graded by Senior Colorist Joseph Bicknell.
