Venice Film Festival 2025: Company 3 Projects in the Spotlight
August 28, 2025 Aug. 28, 2025The Venice Film Festival is officially underway, celebrating cinema’s artistry and cultural impact on a global stage. Running through September 6, this year’s edition continues the festival’s legacy as one of the world’s most prestigious platforms for filmmakers, storytellers, and audiences. From daring debuts to highly anticipated premieres, Venice once again affirms its role as a launchpad for films that will define the year’s conversation.
Company 3 is proud to have collaborated on five projects featured in this year’s lineup. Among them is Bugonia, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who previously won the Golden Lion for Poor Things. Returning to competition, Lanthimos reimagines Jang Joon-Hwan’s 2003 South Korean sci-fi film Save the Green Planet!, working with frequent collaborator Emma Stone and Senior Colorist Greg Fisher, who handled the grading. Also included is Guillermo del Toro’s dark reimagining of Frankenstein, brought to life with color work by Company 3 Senior Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld.
