As the Cannes International Series Festival gets underway, the Croisette once again becomes a global stage for television, bringing together creators and audiences for a week of premieres and conversation around today’s most distinctive episodic storytelling.

Among this year’s lineup is California Avenue, the festival’s closing series, featuring grading by Company 3 Senior Colorist Paul Staples. Written and directed by Hugo Blick, the BBC drama is set during a hazy UK summer in 1975, where the arrival of two outsiders begins to stir long-buried tensions within a secluded caravan park.
