Company 3 Sound Teams Recognized with Multiple CAS Nominations

A strong year for sound continues at Company 3, with multiple artists recognized by the Cinema Audio Society in this year’s nominations for the 62nd Annual CAS Awards, honoring excellence in sound mixing across film and television.

Among the nominees is Senior Re-Recording Mixer Christian Cooke, CAS, whose work on Netflix’s Frankenstein has been recognized with a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing, Motion Pictures Live Action. The nomination honors Christian and the full Frankenstein sound team for their collaborative approach, technical precision, and artistry in shaping the film’s immersive soundscape.

Company 3 is also proud to celebrate Senior Re-Recording Mixer Steve Foster and Re-Recording Mixer Lana Marie Hattar, who received a nomination for their work on Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing, Motion Pictures -Documentary. Their recognition reflects the thoughtful, nuanced sound work required to support documentary storytelling while preserving the film’s emotional integrity.

In addition to the competitive awards, the evening will honor frequent Company 3 collaborator Guillermo del Toro with the Cinema Audio Society’s 2026 Filmmaker Award. A three-time Academy Award® winner and director of Frankenstein, del Toro will be recognized for his lifelong dedication to the sonic side of storytelling and fostering meaningful collaborations with sound teams.

The 62nd Annual CAS Awards will take place on Saturday, March 7, celebrating outstanding achievements in sound across the industry.
