Crafting Raise The Flags: Company 3’s Complete Post and Finishing Work
August 18, 2026 Aug. 18, 2026From a franchise born in the 1970s to an NFL powerhouse, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have built one of football’s most enduring legacies. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Trent Cooper, Raise The Flags: 50 Years of Buccaneer Football is a 10-part docuseries that chronicles the team’s journey through rare archival footage, historic game moments, and exclusive interviews with Buccaneers legends, including Jon Gruden, Warren Sapp and more.

Company 3 Atlanta served as the central hub for picture and sound finishing; the team included Director of Workflow & Finishing Hunter Furnish, Head of Long-Form Production Scott Salamon, Sound Editor Erich Netherton, and Re-Recording Mixer Lucas Sanoff; collaborating remotely alongside Senior Colorist Bryan Smaller in Los Angeles. As revisions evolved across all episodes, the team managed thousands of shots spanning decades of formats and frame rates. “Every time there were tweaks from the client, they had to be updated, often for sections throughout all 10 episodes,” says Salamon. “All of this provided new puzzles for the picture team to solve.” Through extensive color management, conform and finishing work, Furnish and Howard streamlined the process, allowing Smaller to focus on the creative grade. “They did so much,” says Smaller. “It was like white-glove treatment. I just had to sit down and color.”

The result is a seamless blend of archival film, broadcast footage and contemporary interviews, unified through Smaller’s HDR grade and a Dolby 5.1 soundscape crafted by Netherton and Sanoff. From picture conform and color grading to sound editorial, design, mixing and final delivery, Company 3’s artists worked as one team across both coasts to execute Cooper’s vision. “When you’re dealing with a project of this scale, you need a team that understands both the creative vision and the technical realities,” says Cooper. “No matter what challenge came up, they had the expertise to solve it.”
Raise The Flags is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
