2024 BAFTA TV Awards: Nominations Announced

March 21, 2024 Mar. 21, 2024

Yesterday, BAFTA revealed nominations for their highly anticipated 2024 TV awards, and Company 3 is proud to have played a part in nine of this year’s nominated projects.

Among the highlights is Extraordinary, the uproariously funny hero comedy from Sid Gentle Films/Disney+, which has earned three nominations, including one for Scripted Comedy. Senior colorists Gareth Spensley and Chris Rodgers provided color grading for the hit series.

Equally remarkable is the series The Last of Us, a true standout among television shows, already amassing a host of awards, including prestigious Emmys, and captivating audiences worldwide. Graded by Senior Colorist Stephen Nakamura, the hit drama series received several nods, including International Series, Director: Fiction, and Photography & Lighting. Episode 3, “Long, Long, Road,” exploring Bill and Frank’s story, also secured a nomination for the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award, voted for by the public.

Other exciting accolades include Apple TV’s hit series Silo, graded by Senior Colorists Greg Fisher and Bill Ferwerda, receiving multiple craft award nominations, including Production Design and Special, Visual, & Graphic Effects. Additionally, Director Haolu Wang was recognized in the Emerging Talent: Fiction category for her outstanding work on the hit Netflix series Bodies, colored by Senior Colorist Gareth Spensley.

Congratulations to all the filmmakers and crews on their well-deserved nominations!
