The 64th New York Film Festival opens today, kicking off more than two weeks of screenings at Film at Lincoln Center. Three films featuring work from Company 3 artists are part of this year’s festival, including James Gray’s Paper Tiger, which opens NYFF tonight with its North American premiere.

Set in 1986 Queens and Brooklyn, Paper Tiger stars Adam Driver, Miles Teller, and Scarlett Johansson in a New York crime thriller about a family man pulled into a dangerous scheme by his former NYPD officer brother. Shot by cinematographer Joaquin Baca-Asay and graded by Senior Colorist Tim Masick, the film arrives at NYFF following its premiere at Cannes earlier this year.

Tony Gilroy’s Behemoth! will make its World Premiere as this year’s Centerpiece selection on October 2. With cinematography by Damián García and color by Senior Colorist Jean-Clément Soret, the film stars Pedro Pascal as Alex, a former child prodigy and cellist who returns to Los Angeles after leaving his orchestra in Chicago, hoping to rebuild his life and resolve unfinished family business.

Chris Rock’s Misty Green will make its U.S. premiere as part of the festival’s Main Slate. Rosalind Eleazar stars as an Emmy-winning former actress trying to find her way forward in an unforgiving Hollywood, alongside Rock, Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, and Anna Kendrick. The film was shot by Kira Kelly, ASC, with Senior Colorist Tom Poole providing the grade on the film.
