Episodic Finishing Artist

Angelica Lopez

Angelica Lopez started at Company 3 in 2016 as an assistant editor in the television department and has grown as that department has, first serving as night online editor and working her way up to finishing editor. She is fluent in visual effects work and titling and has a strong foundation in DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Adobe Photoshop, Mocha Pro. Lopez is known for her attention to detail and eagerness to tackle  types of visual effects challenges that often accompany high-end finishing work, including reflection removal, seamless split screens and image stabilization. Her recent work includes additional online editing on high-profile projects including Catch-22 and The Boys.

Previously, she worked as assistant editor at Bravo’s digital marketing department, where she went to work while receiving her Master’s degree in Film Production from USC. Prior to that, she graduated UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Film and Digital Media. Lopez also edited a number of projects including an Emmy-winning show, Giants, for which she received a Best Editing nomination from the Indie Series Awards. Lopez is a proud first-generation American whose parents emigrated from Mexico and always provided an excellent example and strong support for their daughter — the first member of the family to receive an undergraduate, then graduate, degree, who is currently working in her dream career.
