Shots The Americas | Shortlist 2023

The 2023 shortlist for Shots The Americas has finally been revealed, and we’re delighted to see five projects that our teams graded featured on the list.

In the music video category, Lizzo ‘About Damn Time’, graded by Bryan Smaller, and 5 Seconds of Summer ‘Older’, graded by Joseph Bicknell, are nominated.

In the direction category, WhatsApp ‘Naija Odyssey’, graded by Simon Bourne is nominated. In the editing category, H&M ‘Hotel Hennes’, graded by Tim Masick is nominated.

Lastly, Absolut ‘The World of Absolut Cocktails’ graded by Jill Bogdanowicz, is nominated in the production and styling category.

The awards are selected by a collection of creative luminaries who sift through entered work to create a list showcasing some of the best projects from the past year. In the music video category, in particular, they search for films that break the mold and rewrite the rulebook.
