Company 3 at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival
May 12, 2026 May. 12, 2026The Croisette once again serves as the center of the film world as the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival begins today. Among this year’s official selections, four projects feature work by Company 3 artists. The selection spans multiple sections of the festival, including Competition, Un Certain Regard, and Special Screenings.
Included in the lineup is Paper Tiger from director James Gray, premiering In Competition. Senior Colorist Tim Masick worked alongside Gray and cinematographer Joaquin Baca-Asay on the crime thriller, which follows two brothers pulled into an increasingly volatile world of corruption, violence, and betrayal.
Premiering in Un Certain Regard, Victorian Psycho marks the latest feature from director Zachary Wigon. Senior Colorist Bryan Smaller worked with Wigon and cinematographer Nico Aguilar on the Gothic horror adaptation of Virginia Feito’s novel. Set inside a remote manor, the story follows a new governess whose arrival coincides with a string of unexplained disappearances.
In Special Screenings, Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer’s, My Mother and Me from director Leah Nelson offers an intimate look at the realities of Alzheimer’s disease. Senior Colorist Thor Roos worked with Nelson on the documentary, which follows a daughter returning home as her mother’s condition begins to reshape their family dynamic.
Opening this year’s Un Certain Regard section is Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma from director Jane Schoenbrun with finishing services by Company 3 and color by Mikey Rossiter. The Camp Miasma slasher franchise is rebooted once again, but the new director’s fixation on the original film’s reclusive “final girl” sets off a new wave of horror beneath the lake.
Cannes remains one of the defining showcases for contemporary filmmaking, bringing filmmakers and creative teams together on the Croisette. Winners will be announced on Saturday, May 23, 2026, during the closing ceremony.
