Company 3 at the 70th BFI London Film Festival

October 7, 2026 Oct. 7, 2026

The BFI London Film Festival returns for its 70th edition today, running from October 7-18, with a program spanning acclaimed filmmakers, world premieres and emerging voices from around the globe. Company 3 artists and teams collaborated on 12 projects selected for this year’s festival, contributing color, sound and finishing work across the lineup.

Screening as this year’s BFI Patrons’ Gala, Tony Gilroy’s Behemoth! stars Pedro Pascal as a classical musician whose move to Los Angeles as a session player evolves into a story of ambition, relationships and the complexities of the human heart. Shot by Damián García, the film was graded by Senior Colorist Jean-Clément Soret.

Soret also collaborated on Danny Boyle’s Ink, selected as The Mayor of London’s Gala. Set against Rupert Murdoch’s acquisition of The Sun in 1969, the film follows editor Larry Lamb as he helps transform the struggling newspaper and reshape Fleet Street. Guy Pearce and Jack O’Connell star, with cinematography by Alwin Küchler.

In Queer Edward II, director Theo Rollason revisits the making of Derek Jarman’s 1991 film Edward II through previously unseen behind-the-scenes footage captured by Seamus McGarvey ASC, BSC, ISC. The documentary explores Jarman’s work against the backdrop of anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation in 1980s Britain and examines the role of art as a form of protest. Senior Colorist Greg Fisher and Colorist James Slattery provided color for the film.

The festival will also host the world premiere of Taika Waititi’s Klara and the Sun, adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro’s bestselling novel. Jenna Ortega stars as Klara, an artificial friend selected by a young girl named Josie, alongside Amy Adams. Shot by Mike Berlucchi, the film was graded by Senior Colorist Greg Fisher.

Among the festival’s other highlights is James Gray’s Paper Tiger, a crime thriller set in the 1980s starring Miles Teller and Adam Driver as brothers whose lives become entangled with the Russian mafia. Shot by Joaquin Baca-Asay, the film was graded by Senior Colorist Tim Masick.

Making their world premieres at the festival are Brad Bird’s Ray Gunn, set in a future where humans and aliens coexist, and Travis Knight’s Wildwood, LAIKA’s latest stop-motion feature. Both films were graded by Senior Colorist Stephen Nakamura, with Wildwood shot by Caleb Deschanel, ASC.

Arriving at BFI following earlier festival screenings are Florian Zeller’s Bunker, shot by Ben Smithard and graded by Senior Colorist Gareth Spensley, and Siân Heder’s Being Heumann, with cinematography by Jamie Ramsey BSC, SASC, and color by Senior Colorist Joseph Bicknell.

Rounding out the selections is the world premiere of Sophia Di Martino’s dark comedy short All Yours, an offbeat look at motherhood and the pressures of everyday life. Re-Recording Mixer Jamie Selway provided sound mixing and sound design, while Alessio Festuccia handled Dialogue Editing, Sound FX Editing and Mix Tech.

Congratulations to our clients, collaborators and the filmmakers presenting work at this year’s festival.
