
Chris Rodgers Wins Big at BAFTA TV Craft Awards
April 30, 2025 Apr. 30, 2025BAFTA has officially announced the winners of the 2025 BAFTA Television Craft Awards, celebrating the exceptional creativity, skill, and craft behind some of the year’s most acclaimed television projects. Held this past Sunday at The Brewery in London, the ceremony honored the outstanding behind-the-scenes talents who helped shape the best programs of 2024. As the industry turns its attention to the upcoming BAFTA Television Awards, the Craft Awards offered an exciting glimpse into the remarkable work that captivated audiences over the past year.
Among the evening’s honorees, Company 3’s Senior Colorist Chris Rodgers, alongside Jason Smith, Richard Bain, and Ryan Conder, earned a BAFTA for Special, Visual & Graphic Effects for their work on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. This incredible achievement recognizes their artistry and technical excellence in helping create the visually stunning world of Middle-earth for the small screen. Reflecting on the win, Chris shared, “It was a complete honor to have won alongside such a talented team for Rings of Power. Color was an important part of the storytelling, and I loved working with such incredible cinematography and visual effects work. Congratulations to everyone involved at Company 3 because this was a real team effort.”
In addition to Chris’ win, Company 3 was proud to see projects we collaborated on earning major recognition. Congratulations to the teams behind Baby Reindeer, graded by Senior Colorist Simon Bourne, Shōgun, graded by Senior Colorist Jill Bogdanowicz, and Supacell, graded by Senior Colorist Joseph Bicknell.
