Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein Tops Critics Choice Wins
January 5, 2026 Jan. 5, 2026The 31st Critics Choice Awards celebrated excellence across film and television, delivering several headline-making moments during a live ceremony at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, hosted by Chelsea Handler. Among this year’s honorees were five projects finished at Company 3, reflecting the range of creative work recognized by critics across various categories.
Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein emerged as one of the most awarded films of the evening, earning four Critics Choice Awards, including Best Supporting Actor for Jacob Elordi, Best Production Design for Tamara Deverell and Shane Vieau, Best Costume Design for Kate Hawley, and Best Hair and Makeup for Mike Hill, Jordan Samuel, and Cliona Furey. Company 3 completed color, sound, finishing, and dailies services on the film, including color grading by Senior Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld and sound mixing by Senior Re-Recording Mixer Christian Cooke and Re-Recording Mixer Brad Zoern.
Also recognized was F1, which was honored with two Critics Choice Awards, including Best Editing and Best Sound. Company 3 completed color, finishing, dailies, and trailers services on the film, with color by Senior Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld and Colorist Parker Jarvie.
In television, South Park received the award for Best Animated Series, marking the first Critics Choice Award win in this category for the long-running series.
Additional Company 3–finished projects recognized among this year’s winners include Marty Supreme, graded by Senior Colorist Yvan Lucas, and Severance Season 2, graded by Senior Colorist Tom Poole.
