
Chris Cooke & Mark Zsifkovits Win Best Sound Mixing for ‘The Shrouds’ at Canadian Screen Awards
June 9, 2025 Jun. 9, 2025Congratulations to Company 3’s Senior Re-Recording Mixer Christian T. Cooke and Recording Mixer Mark Zsifkovits, recipients of the Canadian Screen Award for Best Sound Mixing on David Cronenberg’s The Shrouds.
Their work played a key role in shaping the film’s atmospheric soundscape, elevating the storytelling through expert mixing and collaboration. The Shrouds was also graded by Senior Colorist Bill Ferwerda, adding another layer of visual refinement to the film’s distinctive tone.
Also earning major recognition this year, The Apprentice, graded by Senior Colorist Tyler Roth, won Best Motion Picture and collected a total of five awards, including honors for make-up, hair, and lead and supporting performances. Additionally, Company 3 talent contributed to other winning titles, including Letterkenny, graded by Senior Colorist Dave Muscat, which won for Best Direction in a Comedy. Allegiance, graded by Senior Colorist Anne Boyle, received two wins in performance categories.
