Company 3 Celebrates Eight Projects Nominated for 2026 CSC Awards
June 30, 2026 Jun. 30, 2026The Canadian Society of Cinematographers has announced the nominees for its 69th annual awards, celebrating outstanding achievement in cinematography across television, documentary, commercial, and short-form filmmaking. Company 3 contributed to 8 projects nominated this year.
Among this year’s nominees is Ian Anderson for his work on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3, with the episode ”Through The Lens of Time” recognized in the Dramatic Series Cinematography category. The series follows Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the USS Enterprise as they embark on new adventures across the galaxy. Senior Colorists Stefan Sonnenfeld and Cody Baker helped shape the episode’s final look.
Also recognized in episodic television, Tico Poulakakis, CSC, earned a nomination for Foundation Season 3—the acclaimed adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s landmark science fiction novels—featuring color by Senior Colorist Tony Dustin and sound mixing by Senior Re-Recording Mixer Steve Foster. Stephen Maier was honored for Stick, with Senior Colorists Greg Fisher and Cody Baker grading the comedy. Brendan Steacy was nominated for A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, alongside David A. Makin for the Netflix series Bet, episode “Game On,” both of which were graded by Senior Colorist Joanne Rourke.
Outside of series work, Nickoloz Kachibaia was recognized for Documentary Long Format for The Eternal Song, graded by Colorist Parker Jarvie. Scott McClellan, CSC, received a Dramatic Short Cinematography nomination for Butterfly on a Wheel, graded by Senior Colorist Dave Muscat. In commercial work, Daniel Green was recognized for the ‘Café William’ for EDC campaign, with color by Senior Colorist Matt Osborne.
