April 25, 2024 Apr. 25, 2024

Recently, nominations for the 14th Annual Canadian Cinema Editor Awards were unveiled. The awards spotlight four projects we’ve contributed to across multiple categories.

In the Best Editing in the TV Drama category, Apple TV+’s series The Changeling, graded by Senior Colorist Bill Ferwerda, secured two nominations. Editors Jonathan Eagan, Geoff Ashenhurst, CCE, and Hye Mee Na were recognized for their exceptional work on episodes ‘Stormy Weather’ and ‘First Comes Love,’ respectively. Additionally, Lisa Robinson, CCE, earned praise for her editing on the Netflix series Firefly Lane, specifically the episode ‘Can’t Fight The Feeling.’ Vancouver-based Senior Colorist Jimmy Hsu contributed to the latest season of this acclaimed show.

Another standout is Editor Drew Macleod, who earned two nominations for Best Editing in a TV Comedy for his contributions to creator Jared Keeso’s series Letterkenny (‘Over and Out’) and Shoresy (‘Accountability’). Senior Colorist Dave Muscat provided the grading for both comedy hits.

Congratulations to all the editors for their well-deserved recognition!

Stay tuned for the winners’ announcement on Friday, June 14th, at the Delta Hotel in Toronto.
