The SXSW Film & TV Festival returns to Austin today, launching a week celebrating bold storytelling across film, television, shorts, music videos, and immersive media. Company 3 artists provided post services for 16 projects featured at this year’s festival, with titles appearing in the Headliner, Narrative Spotlight, Documentary Spotlight, Independent TV Pilot Competition, and Narrative Short Competition programs.

Among the highlights are two films premiering in the festival’s Headliner program. Over Your Dead Body, directed by Jorma Taccone, with color by Senior Colorist Bill Ferwerda and sound mixing by Senior Re-Recording Mixer Steve Foster and Re-Recording Mixer Mark Zsifkovits, follows a dysfunctional couple whose secluded cabin retreat hides a deadly secret as each secretly plans the other’s murder. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, the sequel to the 2019 horror hit, directed by Matt Bettinelli Olpin and Tyler Gillett, with color by Senior Colorist Tony Dustin and sound mixing by Re-Recording Mixers Andrew Tay and Scott Hitchon, continues Grace’s fight for survival as rival families battle for control.

Additional premieres include Poetic License, marking the feature directorial debut of Maude Apatow and graded by Senior Colorist Jill Bogdanowicz, appearing in the Narrative Spotlight program. The documentary #Skyking, directed by Patricia E. Gillespie and graded by Senior Colorist Anne Boyle, appears in the Documentary Spotlight program and explores the extraordinary story of Horizon Air employee Richard “Beebo” Russell and the stolen plane flight that captivated the nation.

Company 3 artists also contributed to projects in television and short film programs, including the independent pilot In My Blood, graded by Colorist Patrick Devine, premiering in the Independent TV Pilot Competition. Narrative Short Competition titles include Stairs, graded by Colorist Justin White; Copy, Save and Talk Me, graded by Colorist Patrick Devine; and Imago, graded by Colorist Jared Pecht with sound mixing by Company 3 Re-Recording Mixer Matthew Knights.

Tyler, The Creator’s “Sugar on My Tongue,” graded by Senior Colorist Tyler Roth; Doechii’s “Anxiety,” graded by Senior Colorist Bryan Smaller; and Great Grandpa’s “Doom,” graded by Colorist Jake White, are also ones to watch in the Music Video Competition.
