Nominations for the 41st Film Independent Spirit Awards were unveiled yesterday, recognizing standout work across independent film and television.

Company 3’s work appears across several nominated projects this year. Blue Sun Palace, nominated for Best Cinematography and Best First Feature, presents an intimate portrait of working class life in New York, with Senior Colorist Joseph Bicknell completing the final grade. One of Them Days, nominated for Best First Feature, brings a lively and contemporary energy to its Los Angeles setting, with grading by Senior Colorist Dave Hussey. East of Wall, also nominated for Best First Feature, offers a grounded look at family and place in rural South Dakota, with Senior Colorist Bryan Smaller completing the grade. Eephus, recognized in the John Cassavetes Award category for features produced for under one million dollars, reflects on community and change through the lens of a small town baseball tradition, with Colorist Miles Kula completing the grade.
